I'm never sure what actually makes something qualify as being
in style. Sometimes fashion magazines get everything right and sometimes I wonder what intern got the honor of deciding what is now fashionable. For example, I was recently flipping through one of my fashion magazines when I saw Selina Gomez wearing what I thought for sure was a fashion miss.
Garter tights? She is 19 and for some reason someone said it was OK to go out in public wearing what looks like lingerie. Fashion magazines are promoting this look! I am not an overly cautious dresser by any means, but this has crossed the line. I don't know anything about Selina's personal life, but if she doesn't want to be thought of in a certain way she should turn down the heat a notch.
Summer Lust
I have a new summer obsession that I would love to get my hands on. I would love to get some white jeans. There have been several summers where I have thought about white jeans and my logical side always rules them out somehow. After all, when wearing white pants one has to be very careful where one sits, make sure there will be no surprise visits from that pesky once a month caller, and don't even think about eating. This summer though I have decided to throw caution to the wind and get a pair. I continually see Levis year after year, so I am going to go for the tried and true. I will let you know how it goes.
